I Stand With Pewdiepie

I have been watching Pewdiepie for 6 years, and have seen him change and grow in so many ways. His content has improved, his jokes have improved, and he has done so much for others that no one ever talks about. Anytime I’ve asked someone “have you heard of Pewdiepie?” the response is always “isn’t that the guy who gets paid millions to scream and play video games?” It’s ridiculous.
Everyone who has actually watched his videos knows what a genuinely nice and caring person he is. (Even if he wants to seem more “hardcore” than he really is haha.) We can see and appreciate his reason for making the video and all of the other videos he has received hate for.
There are so many other channels and videos out there that are clearly and purposefully spreading hate that will suffer no consequences because they aren’t in the public eye (or signed to a network) like Felix is. Which would be understandable had it been Felix’s intention to spread hate and to be anti-semetic.
I find it funny that he literally made that video to show that people will do and say anything for money and then these “news” sites immediately prove him right.

This situation has gotten extremely out of control and I believe that if his video had been left alone, it would of been quickly forgotten and would of made significantly less of an impact than it did thanks to the Wall Street Journal. They brought it outside of Felix’s audience and out to the public. They spread it and they made it a topic of interest. They, if anyone, were the ones being anti-semetic in this situation.

Regardless of all of this, I will continue to support Pewdiepie and I hope he will continue to grow and improve and enjoy making videos. Thank you for 6 years of laughter and many more to come, Felix. We know you aren’t the monster they are trying to make you seem.
